A free AI tutor that actually stays free.
Edapt's Free plan gives you 5 personalised AI-tutored lessons every month — no credit card, no 7-day countdown, no “free trial” that quietly flips into a subscription. Just a free AI tutor that knows how you learn and what you're studying.

Why a free AI tutor matters
Most “free AI tutor” offers are 7-day trials that swipe your card on day 8, or chatbots with no teaching scaffolding. Edapt is neither. The Free plan exists because students — especially Year 10–12 students — shouldn't have to pay a subscription to find out whether an AI tutor actually works for their brain.
You take a short VARK questionnaire when you sign up. From that point, every lesson Edapt generates — whether you paste a textbook chapter, snap a photo of handwritten notes, upload a PDF or just type a topic — is rewritten to match how you learn best, paced for your level, and pitched to your country's curriculum.
If 5 lessons a month is enough, stay on Free forever. If you want more, Plus is A$9.99/mo for 50 lessons (currently 50% off launch pricing). No card on Free, no minimum on Plus, cancel any time.
Free AI tutor — common questions
Is Edapt actually a free AI tutor, or a free trial?
Actually free. The Free plan gives you 5 AI-tutored lessons every single month with no credit card and no expiry date. It is not a 7-day trial that flips to a paid subscription. If you never upgrade, you keep getting 5 fresh lessons a month forever.
What's the catch with the free plan?
The cap is 5 lessons per month. Every other capability — VARK adaptation, Listen mode, Easy Read, lesson library, learner memory, country-specific curriculum, file/photo/voice uploads — is unlocked on Free. The only reason to upgrade is if you want more than 5 lessons a month or a priority queue.
How is this different from ChatGPT's free tier?
ChatGPT is a general chatbot. Edapt is built around teaching: it knows your VARK profile, knows your curriculum (ACARA/Common Core/UK National Curriculum), remembers what you've covered, structures lessons with summaries and practice questions, and reads them aloud. You don't have to prompt-engineer every time — Edapt already knows how to teach you.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Sign up with email, take a 60-second VARK quiz, and your first AI-tutored lesson is ready. We never ask for a card on Free.
What happens when I use my 5 free lessons?
You can still read everything you've already generated, listen, switch into Easy Read, and use your learner memory. New lessons unlock again on the 1st of the next month, or you can upgrade to Plus (50/mo, currently A$9.99 with 50% off launch pricing) any time.
Is there a free AI tutor for high school students?
Yes — that's exactly who Edapt is built for. Year 10–12 students in Australia, the UK, the US, Canada and NZ use the free plan to revise topics, work through PDFs, and prep for exams without paying anything.
